Phobos marines! I made these six up from some second hand figures. I wanted to do them in the yellow of the fists as I thought it looked cool. Once I started I got very disenchanted trying to get Yellow to work. So one afternoon I went mad with the sponge weathering and ink washes and just kept going till they were done. I slapped and slapped and chipped and slashed and then they were done. These are the basic Phobos team dudes, I have Reivers, and Incursors to add to them but they are in different colours. These guys are my infiltrators, I'll not be adding any more generic infiltrators.  

  Kommandos I have had these since I bought the Octarius box set ages ago. I was distracted by so many other things that they were just left to kick about. I painted the skin base colour on all the figures and finished off the burna boy. Then I left them.  I picked them back up in early August and decided to Get it Dun! and finish them off. I had no idea what green I had used for the base coat, so I tried various colours to highlight and shade. I ended up with a variety of skin tones, all quite dark.  I really like the craziness of these figures, there's stuff all over them and there was extra stuff to stick on them as well, I didn't.  They have had one game so far and they won it easily, I'm hoping they keep that record. They are a decent team to play, durable, some good shooting, some sneaky tricks and a bit of the Waaargh! to do some krumpin'. Waaargh!!
